Realists/Naturalists in Literature: Cather, Crane, Twain, and James

Emile Zola believed the realists/naturalists consider that man ignore non be separated from his surroundings, that he is wholly by his clothes, his house, his city, and his country; and hence we shall not nock a single phenomenon of his brain or heart with bug out smell for the causes or the consequences of his surroundings.
